The Green Light

I've been waiting for the Gatsby movie to come out for what seems like an eternity and it did not disappoint. Don't I look like Dr. T.J. Eckleburg? Some scenes, like Gatsby's parties, were exactly how I pictured them and others lost their luster in my mind's eye. This will be my 13th summer reading it and then thereafter I'll be setting it down for a while. I'm not sure how long, but a while. When I feel the green light pulling me back in toward its haunting it'll be like coming home. Sidenote: Ty and I went on a date to my favorite pizza joint right after; a perfect, perfect night for me...
