Interoffice Politics

Today's BNK game was a nail biter! Not only was the game close through out, but another friend and Pacific Crest employee (Mayer) was on the opposing team. Some co-workers of Casey and Ty's came to cheer on their fellow PCer's in action. There were rumors of trash-talk at work, something about Mayer pinning up his maroon jersey on to his cubical wall and of course growing a mustache all in the vain hope of intimidating BNK. When all was said and done: 26-19, us! Apparently this was too close for Ty who is not smiling as a result of his poor performance (see below). This close score leaves room for more supposed intimidation and threats (maybe Mayer will grow a Santa beard in the next couple weeks?) but until playoffs-BNK has bragging rights...

p.s. I'll be sure to post the schedule if we play them again soon!

Monster Mash

Since Halloween is tomorrow and we will no doubt have massive pictures between me and Andi, I thought I would take a trip down memory lane just to remember. These are Pea's Halloween costumes the past three years...

She had TWO the first year (2007): the Pea pod ended up being a deal breaker as she would NOT wear the hood-luckily I got one or two good pictures.

After the pea pod outfit failure we started the tradition of all three Bell girls doing a theme-here they are all bugs and might I add they do not really look that happy about it...

Then the next year Pea was Flounder from The Little Mermaid; Heidi was Sebastian and Kyla, Ariel of course!

We could NOT resist a professional portrait...
And this year: Kyla is Santa and Heidi slash Pea are Elf 1 and Elf 2-hilarious!

Santa and Elves!

I loved this face of Pea's (day of the broken arm incident!)
Go Halloween Fun!

Good Seed

Pumpkin carving party at the Bells this evening! Pea loved it and loved eating the pumpkin innards. She scooped out seeds with Daddy and as previously wondered by Mommy; yes, Daddy got a bit OCD about getting ALL seeds out before carving began. Mommy cut out a crude Mickey Mouse and a heart per request from Pea. Despite having to (sadly) strap her into a booster and wrap her cast in plastic it was Halloween fun!

Happy girl! I like how you can see her arm wrapped in this one:)

Weekend Warriors

This weekend Ty and I got a chance to get away and celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary! So jam-packed. We stayed at Olive 8 downtown, which we both would highly recommend. It was beautiful. Saturday night we went to Tavern Law to grab a drink and then dinner at Quinn's on Capitol Hill (I managed to snag a coconut cupcake in between those two since cocktails weren't happening)! We also highly recommend both those watering hole/eateries as well! Tavern Law especially since you almost feel completely transported back in time to the late twenties Prohibition era; complete with a REAL Speak Easy (secret room above bar) and patrons dresses as flappers. The next day we hoofed it to Pike's Place where I saw the sister of an old friend and we had a sandwich to DIE for at I Love New York Deli. After some Christmas scout shopping, we are home! BIG thanks to my hubby for planning a great weekend-you are dynamite!

Saturday was also 15 weeks of pregnancy #2!

The Market! Seriously, go to that Deli...

Blow Out

Special game against the Tea Flaggers this past Saturday. It pitted brother against brother! Blake and Al are on the BNK and their brother Drew is on the TF's along with many other friends. BUT, when it came down to it, our team was just better as seen below in this photo: I believe the aggressive action stance of the BNK speaks for itself...
Final outcome? 36-0, us.

Newest BNK mascot; Diesel.

Boys, maybe you're winning because you have so many pretty girls cheering you on?

Rotator Cuff

This title for two reasons:
One: Because of the cast's existence, Mama had to go to a consignment shop and buy four shirts and two pairs of pj's that we could cut the left arms off of so Pea could actually wear clothes while this pink monstrosity is outstaying its welcome. We have started referring to it as the cast (an entity in itself) since everyone loves the girl, not said thing attached to her arm. One positive change: Pea's current wardrobe was a mere 15 dollars! So Shabby Cast Chic...
Side note: 1 week of 5:30 AM wake up calls down, 5 more to go. I am beginning to loath this cast as it slams against the bed frame every morning waking up my little girl.
Two: Since she only has a certain number of shirts until like...Thanksgiving (yikes!) she's rotating the same drab wardrobe basically twice a week. Ever the innovative girl; Pea is working her new look with dignity and flair!
Below is a funny video of her new thing: running in circles anywhere there is a pillar or pole. Bonus: You see her rotating cuffs in action. To answer your question: Yes, you will be seeing this shirt again. And again.

Boy Named Sue

With all the mayhem last week (i.e Pea's broken arm), I didn't get a chance to give Tyler some much needed face time on the blog. Ty went down to steamy hot Austin, Texas for business on Wednesday and while down there got to see our good friend Nate who lives in said steamy city. As many of you know, Tyler LOVES Johnny Cash and Nate took him to a bar named after one of his favorite Cash songs: Mean Eyed Cat. When we were dating he used to love to play it because the song annoyed me so much, but I do love these pictures!

One-Armed Bandit

Pearson wanted to show readers out there how good she's doing eating with her cast. Go Pea! side note: felt baby bell #2 move today for the first time-life is such a miracle!

Hmm, tasty!
Mommy and Daddy signed her cast:

Rain Rain Go Away

And it did, but JUST for the BNK game today! Score: 49-20 (victory for BNK)! Here are some action shots of today.

Tyler had some A+ catches today. Very proud, I must say...

Arm Candy

It must have been some sort of crazy karma which I unleashed as I (darkly) scanned in that picture of me with my broken arm last week (see below). Ironically, I was the same age as Pearson when she broke her arm yesterday falling off a toy at the park. Thankfully I was not alone when it happened! However, it was not good! After a trip to Urgent care, a make-shift splint, another trip to Marybridge and one pink cast later; the brave girl is doing well! I can't believe what a trooper she was having to be put under and have her very first IV. I am amazed at my little one. We are thankful for the following:
  • It was not her leg. Amen.
  • It is her left arm, not right so she can still eat, color, etc.
  • Grandma Polly & Papa Tim coming to the hospital.
  • Your prayers and encouragement.
And for God's peace in a stressful time!

Slinging it.

Watching a movie (special treat).

Smiling after Tylenol:)

Hot Mess

After seeing the "hot mess" that was Pearson's unkempt hair in those pictures from the pumpkin patch, Pea received her first professional hair cut today: take a look at this new cuteness...

Pump(kin) You Up!

On Saturday, Ty and I took our little girl to the Kelsey Creek Farm Fair and pumpkin patch in Bellevue. Umm, L-O-V-E-D it. Hands down her favorite was picking a pumpkin, decorating it with sparkles and paint, and (of course) the animals. She could NOT get enough of the giant pig or the bunnies. My apologies for Mamarazzi out of control here, but there were so many good ones I couldn't choose! This place was so wonderful, pony and hay rides, tons of animals, bouncy houses, pumpkin decorating, and good good food. We are going back here next year! Anyone interested is welcome to come;)

She said the pumpkin was too heavy...

Time to check out all the animals...

And eat Kettle Corn by the pound, Pea kept saying, "Nummy Licious"

Game Face

No more Mister Nice Guys! We are back baby with a win today (40-25). After much anticipation, QB's pleading emails to memorize plays, and a fresh round of face paint the boys are back! Here are some pics from the game and surrounding entertainments...

New plays tested...and proven!

Andrea made signs for K & H.

Rare moment of girls allowed by the players in action.

They actually played catch together very well-Go P & H!

Too Cute To-day

Love this picture and LOVE this new skirt I scored Pea yesterday. Mama's fav color too...
